This is the web site associated with the published guidebook: "Around Leeds". The guidebook has been designed with three primary aims in mind.

First, it guides the reader from Millennium Square on a circular anticlockwise tour of the city centre, providing illustrated commentary on buildings and places of historical and contemporary interest along the way.

Second, it is about understanding processes of continuity and change in the urban fabric as the city economy has moved from trading to manufacturing and on to services.

Third, we hope that the book will stimulate more people to get involved in thinking about how the city centre could and should develop in the future.
